What: Family Camping
When: TBD Arrival time at 12 noon. Departure after breakfast Sunday morning

Who: Open to all scouts & family. Siblings welcome. Must have a parent attend. Not a drop off event
Cost/Signup:$15 per family - pay your den leader or PayPal
Details:
The schedule is relaxed with plenty of free time and some Scouting type activities. For those with conflicts, feel free to come & go as you please. Available activities include Hiking, play basketball, or use the playground
Families provide their own camping gear. Let us know if you need to borrow gear.
Meals:
Saturday Lunch: Bring your own sack lunch
Saturday Dinner: Hamburger and Hot Dogs, sign up for side dish/dessert, smores over the campfire
Sunday Breakfast: Cold breakfast (Cereal, donuts, etc)
Scout Packing List:
Tent for your family - we have extra tents available, but please ask your den leader in advance so that one can be reserved for you
Camp chairs for your family
Clothes for at least 2 days
Shorts
1 pair of jeans/long pants
PJ's or sleeping clothes
Underwear, 1 for each day
Socks, at least 1 pair per day
Extra socks
Sweatshirt or light jacket (mornings and evenings can be cool)
Extra shoes to get wet/muddy
Comfortable athletic shoes or hiking boots. Extra pair of shoes is a good idea
Poncho or raincoat
Sleeping bag or blankets & sheet with small pillow.
Parents may want to bring a pad/cot or air mattress. However, don't expect electricity to blow up the mattress
Toilet Kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, DEODORANT, etc)
Notebook, pen or pencil, Scout handbook
Water bottle
Hat
Sun Screen, non-aerosol bug repellent
Flashlight with extra batteries
Small Personal First Aid kit
Card games like Uno, Skip-bo, checkers, chess,
A container to hold food to be hanged or placed away from tents (or keep in your car)
ZIP LOCK BAGS ARE GREAT—pack clean dry clothes in these bags and stow dirty wet clothes to go home

Sheath knives. Webelos can have a small pocket knife if they have the Whittling Chip
